Why Retargeting?

Retargeting helps you re-engage a major (up to 98%) portion of your website visitors  - the people who normally don't buy anything upon their first visit to your store. The Standard Retargeting campaign is easy to set up and provides, on average, 3x-5x return on advertising spend.

Who will see ads? 

Standard Retargeting ads are shown to website visitors who viewed at least one product on your website (and maybe added it to cart) but left the website without purchasing the product. The ads will be shown for up to 14 days or until the purchase is completed.

Retargeting ads will initially appear on all the placements currently offered by Adwisely. As your campaign progresses, all the ineffective placements will be automatically disabled.

Note: Standard Retargeting can only work if you have 100+ website visitors/day. If your website audience is smaller than that, Adwisely will automatically launch an additional ad. This ad will target people who have expressed interest in products similar to yours even if they haven’t visited your website yet. You won’t have to make any extra payments for this ad - it will work within your current daily budget

What Ad message should I use?

The ad message for retargeting campaign should catch users' attention and remind them about your offers. Here are some examples:

  • Haven’t seen you for a while. Ready to make a purchase yet?😉

  • 🤩 Buy {{product.name}} for only {{product.price}} 🤩 Hurry while supplies last! 

  • Psst! Get a smashing 10% off your next purchase 🙀 Just enter 10OFF at checkout!

When you are coming up with an ad message, be sure to follow the ad message creation guidelines. You can change ad message for Standard Retargeting only on Adwisely dashboard. 

What daily budget do I set for Standard Retargeting?

If you are not sure which daily budget to choose, you can start out with 20 USD/day (or an equivalent in your local currency), and, as your campaign progresses, use the in-app recommendations. Be sure to learn when to adjust your daily budget. 

Where do I view the Standard Retargeting results?

To view the results of the Standard Retargeting campaign, select it on Adwisely dashboard.
