If you’re experiencing difficulties connecting your Google Merchant Center (GMC) to Adwisely, follow these steps to resolve the issue effectively:
Step 1: Verify Admin Access
Ensure that the Google account you are using for Adwisely has Admin-level access to the GMC containing your product feed.
Check which Google account is connected to Adwisely and confirm it matches the account with Admin access to your GMC. Tip: If you use multiple email accounts, double-check that the correct one has Admin privileges in the appropriate GMC.
Step 2: Confirm the Right Account is Being Used
Using the correct account matters for GMC connection. Your Google account must be an Admin in GMC and also match the account with Admin access to Google Ads linked with your Adwisely campaigns:
Log into Google Merchant Center.
Navigate to the settings icon (gear icon) > People and Access.
Locate and confirm the role of your Google account.
If it is not listed as an Admin, add your onboarding account as an Admin.
Step 3: Update Account Permissions (if necessary)
If your Google account does not have Admin access, follow these steps:
Request an Admin user of the GMC account to update your access level.
